I have'nt been around my computer since the weather has gotten nice...thanks for noticing Joyce ... interesting random facts have occured. We went to a Twins game... Twins vs Yankees...twins won...it was to my surprise alot of fun...I do love playing baseball, but don't think I have actually watched a twins game since that world series in 87...i was a little kid...ahhhh... got a puppy... His name is Henry and I am in love with him...we adopted him from the animal shelter, he is one cute mutt...he is yellow and nice and he looks like a lab mixed with a jack russell T, with a pinch of Golden retriever... henry. I got a job making pizzas...frozen pizzas...mea pizza pia maker... need I say more?

I feel like I've been living in a cave all weekend...it's been great. Smoking and working on this book....this weekend was probable the most productive of all... but I had'nt really been pushing myself too much, now I am like...wow...I have a little over a quarter and a little less then half of my book finished....well, not counting the illustrations.... which i think i will scribble some up here and there this week so i'm not bombarded at the end ......a friend has a friend who owns his own publishing establishment...so he might know the right people she said.... plus his place is a poetry place...how perfect is that..... my friend gave me the best review ever about the first 19 poems.... "they remind me of where the whild things are, shel silverstein, a little dr seuss, and sassy, semi inappropriate greeting cards"......hahahahha.... awsome.

Creativity has been my friend for the last week After playing guitar for, oh we'll say around 6 years...but seriously for about three, and really really serious the last few months... and out of control serious the last couple weeks... like the door that i had been prying on finally cracked open when I was least expecting it. something happened something that enlightened something that sparked and said "ok......nooooow do you get it..." and the answer was easily, "yea." working on dexterity... and trying to focus on what i am doing... get my finger picking down better instead of going crazy on the chords like usual think think think.... and I looked and felt my tough fingertips on my lips today and had to smile. like a popcorn husk...or whatever that thing is called...the shell thing that coats the pop in the corn... .... focus woman... I think cabin fever finally started to take me down for a bit here and there, but that is the joy of a Minnesota winter i guess, fuck. and I think my drums saved me ... we will say around twenty eight and a half times...and that was just this month. just to pound everything that I feel into them.... until my legs are weak and my arms make me throw down the stix... and then start it out soft and slow again and then back into a rampage... ahhhhhhhhhhh... that feels good.

Well, I'm back... finally got my computer to take a connection...although since I don't know shit about computers I managed to lose all of my pictures and music... shit. shit. shit. What a great welcome home post.
